Celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the Summer of Love with:
The Art
Wavy Gravy, Jerry Garcia (1942-1995), Dave Sheridan (1943-1982), Gilbert Shelton, Stanley Mouse, MOT and DAVA.

Music
features members of Zero, The Jerry Garcia Band, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Country Joe and the Fish, The Youngbloods, Bob Dylan Band and other musical luminaries.

Bands include:
Moon Alice, Euphoria, and Revival All-Star Musicians:

Plus a performance from Wavy Gravy himself!

Wavy Gravy Collage artist and Woodstock legend Wavy Gravy is known as "The Clown Prince of the Counter Culture" (High Times) and has performed with many of the musical giants of our time including Thelonious Monk, Peter, Paul & Mary, Tiny Tim and many others. He is cofounder of Seva foundation and Camp Winnarainbow, the performing arts camp he has co directed for over 30 years.

All-Star Musicians will include:
Greg Anton: Cofounder and drummer for Zero. Anton has also played with Gregg's Eggs, Stanley Jordan, John Cippolina, Shauna Morrison, members of The Grateful Dead, and performed on over 30 albums
Barry "the Fish" Melton: Cofounder and original lead singer for Country Joe and the Fish, Melton was also a member of the psychedelic super group The Dinasaurs and currently heads The Barry Melton Band.
Martin Fierro: Zero's saxophonist and has played for Jerry Garcia Band, Mother Earth, Legion of Mary, Sir Douglas Quintet, and toured with The Grateful Dead in 1973.
Banana: Most famous as the guitarist for The Youngbloods, Banana also played for Banana & the Bunch. Currently he plays for The Michael Barclay Blues Band, The Barry Melton Band, and Joe New and the Walking Wonders.
Tom Finch: Currently with Big Brother and the Holding Company and his Tom Finch Group, Finch has also played with the Jazz Iguanas.
Futoshi Morioka: New on the scene from Japan, Morioka is the guitarist for Gregg's Eggs and plays for Tony Perez & Second Hand Smoke.
Howie Cort: Keeps the beat for Valley Funktion as well as Chuck Day and the Burning Sensations. She also played for Transister Rodeo in the 90's and did percussion work for Zero's "Here Goes Nothin".

Jerry Garcia: The beloved guitarist and lead vocalist for The Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia (1942-1995) was also a talented artist who studied at the San Francisco Art Institute and had his first exhibit at the legendary Weir Gallery.


Dave Sheridan: The iconic underground cartoonist Dave Sheridan (1943-1982) is best-known for his characters Dealer McDope and Mother¹s Oats, his collaboration on the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers and his political cartoons for the Berkeley Barb.

 

 

Stanley Mouse: Best known for album artwork and other images associated with the Grateful Dead, Mouse's extensive career as one of the most sought after rock artists also includes early posters for Big Brother and the Holding Company, album art for Journey and has included shows at the Smithsonian Institute and MOMA.

MOT: Influenced by Salvador Dali, Rembrandt and other diverse sources, neo-surrealist sensation MOT is celebrated for his completely unique portraits of 60¹s stars, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Mona Lisa and much more.
